SUPPORT US

How can you help keep the dream alive?
DONATE NOW
Over the years parents have worked tirelessly to fundraise and financially support the establishment and ongoing running of our center. We are fortunate to hold contracts with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health which provide funding that enables us to provide services to support families and children with disabilities and developmental delays. Our center appreciates the support from these Ministries; however the funding is limited, making it necessary for us to fundraise to continue to grow our service. The children and families who access our service want to live their lives to the fullest and be able to dream the biggest dream and your donation can help these dreams become a reality. There are a number of ways in which you can contribute to the lives of these special children

Make a Donation

You can make a donation via internet banking

Account Name: Conductive Education Canterbury
Bank: Westpac:
Account Number: 03-0823-0391604-00

Conductive Education Canterbury is a charitable trust registered with the Charities Commission (number). All donations over $5 are eligible for tax rebate. Please email us using the contact us page with your details and we will provide you with a receipt.

Sponsor a Child -  committed giving

You could be part of transforming the lives of a child and family in your local community. If you, or your workplace, would like to make a more regular donation why not sponsor a child each month and help to provide the intensive support that our families and children receive. By sponsoring a child each month you will be providing a month of learning new skills like walking, toileting and eating, a month of playing with friends and improving communication skills, a month of new experiences and fun activities and a month of parents being surrounded by other parents who understand what they are going through.

Contact us today to discuss this option including how much you’d like to donate and how often. Once you have decided on the level of sponsorship you would like to commit to we can discuss a candidate child and provide you with information and updates on their progress. If you want your sponsorship to be "general" in nature and not tied to a specific child that is fine too, with other options available.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is a voluntary initiative that enables employees to make donations to charities, schools and other community groups through their employer's payroll system.  In other words, you can give as you earn.
Donations made via payroll giving receive an immediate PAYE credit of 33% of the donation amount. This means if you donate $15, it actually only costs you $10.

Talk to your employer to find out whether payroll giving is offered in your workplace. If it is, you can make donations by letting your employer know:
  • You'd like to donate to Conductive Education Canterbury
  • How much you’d like to donate
  • How frequently you wish to donate
  • You may also need to supply further information about the organisation (i.e. bank account details and/or postal address) to enable your employer to pass the donation on.
