Since Toby has been attending CEC he has learnt to sit up, crawl,
walk in a space of 18 months. Without his attendance I don’t
think he would have done this. The support and social aspects have
been excellent for us as a family. I would recommend to any family
who has a child behind their milestones to look at attending CEC.

How lucky we are, at the most challenging time of our life we found
CEC. Our beautiful now 3 year old boy with hemiplegia is thriving,
he loves going to “therapy” although he has no idea
that’s what it is. To him it’s just preschool just like
his other one. They play games, learn, take field trips, make friends
and all the while they are learning how to take care of themselves
and operate in a world where its going to be even harder for him
them than usual. For us the parents, the support and friendships
we’ve made are amazing, the inspiration of watching your own
and other children is indescribable.

Our son wouldn’t have made the same sort of progress he has
made unless he was here. His development has come a long way in
3 years from only being able to roll on the floor when we first
arrived and no communication skills to walking unaided and being
able to make him self understood nonverbally. We would highly recommend
CE to anybody. The teachers are wonderful and very approachable.

Montana was 9 months old when we found out she had cerebral palsy.
Our wonderful Plunket Nurse recommended CE to us as she had been
there with another child. We can’t thank her enough for that
recommendation as it has meant so much for our family. Montana was
unable to sit or crawl like her twin sister. She is now three and
a half and can walk using a walking frame and is learning to walk
with sticks. We are constantly amazed at the support, knowledge
and friendly staff and other families we have met at CE. Montana
is a happy, very normal little girl who because of CE will go to
school like her sisters and lead a wonderful life. Thank you CE.

We chose CE because there were group sessions twice a week. Ben
loves being around the other children and his movement has developed
so quickly by watching the other children. It’s been great
for him to encourage his feeding and it’s a very supportive
environment for parents too. I’m glad we chose CEC.

Oakland suffered a stroke as a newborn affecting his left side.
I decided to try CE because they offered more intensive weekly sessions.
I would fully recommend this centre to anyone whose child suffers
from disabilities, I am constantly amazed at his progress. He is
now attempting to crawl which I know left to my own devices would
be nowhere near where he is now. The staff are excellent and approachable,
Oakland absolutely loves coming here.
